A rich, copper colored, moderately hopped lager. Historically, due to a lack of refrigeration, this Märzen style beer was brewed in Germany in March and then stored in cold caves during the heat of the summer until late September. In the mid 1800s this style of beer was used to celebrate a Noble’s wedding, starting the tradition of the Oktoberfest. Prost!
